Shelley joined RE/MAX Hallmark Realty Group in 2019 to better serve clients as part of a great team. Shelley believes that a great real estate agent needs to put client needs first and that everyone must be treated with respect and compassion. Listening to what clients need and want is very important to her, striving to provide the highest level of service while aiming to exceed client expectations. Having worked in the not-for-profit sector with national, provincial and local clients prior to joining the real estate world, Shelley specialized in program management, communications and marketing – all skills she brings to her career in real estate. Born and raised in Almonte, Shelley moved to Kanata as a teenager and has called Hintonburg her home for the last 23 years with her husband, 2 dogs and 2 cats. Shelley cares very much about her community, serving for 6 years on the Ottawa Humane Society Board of Directors and for 3 years as the Chair of Sit With Me Shelter Dog Rescue. She is also very active helping with fundraising for Ottawa Stray Cat Rescue and has volunteered for the last 12 years with the Carleton Tavern Christmas Meal that serves over 1,000 people each year. Sport is also a big part of Shelley’s life being an avid golfer, ball hockey player/coach and yoga enthusiast. She is currently the President of the Ontario Ball Hockey Federation and before that was President of the Ottawa-Vanier Women’s Ball Hockey League for 8 years and President of the Canadian Ball Hockey Association for 4 years. One of the areas Shelley specializes in is helping clients downsize.
